Nothing better

This is way better than the 'pyramid' one. I have both and the book seat works the best for me and with any size book. Adjustable and comfortable to put in your lap too. Love it!

Great idea!

I'd purchased a red Book Seat for myself, and enjoyed it so much that I purchased one for my spouse. He loves being able to sit on the couch and read, without having to have a table to set his book on. He reads paper books and his Kindle equally, and the Book Seat Book Holder works for both, though care must be taken with the clear plastic page holder: it can't be too snug against your paper pages lest they rip. I'm going to purchase several more of these, for my extended family members.

Good for iPad & hardbacks

The reader works very well for e-readers and ipad, and general hardbacks. It may not do very well for paperbacks of over 500 pages unless one doesn't mind over bending the book spine. Great to have a comfortable book holder that you can put in your lap, most of the others are too rigid compared to Bookseat. The plastic flap needs to be tucked under the book before flipping a page else you risk making a tear as you flip. I would get more as Xmas presents!

Disgruntledmum

Carpal tunnel syndrome

I have carpal tunnel and neuropathy in my hands and this device certainly helps relieve the pain of holding a book, which the book seat does marvelously!

Saves on wrist strain and cold hands!

My hands were always cold from loss of circulation being bent so long reading in bed. Also my wrists and fingers were always stained holding paperbacks open for long periods. This holder works for both my hardcover books and paperbacks. I like that when I get tired I can turn on my side to read. Best thing I've found yet for the in bed reader.

Perfect for Kindle to

I picked up a Book Seat on vacation, and I love it. It holds my Kindle at exactly the right angle on my lap, a sofa arm, a table, or in bed. I only need to lift a finger to push the next page button...otherwise my hands are free to sip a glass of wine or just relax. I find I need to change positions much less often because my arms don't get fatigued. The small pocket on the back handily holds my book light.

Great iPad seat

This is a great iPad seat - stops your knees getting warm and leaves room for the cat to sit on your lap! Great product

Debby Lee

What a super idea with such a reading pillow, which even can keep hold of a stapled book. It's the best investment I have done a long time. For one who reads a lot, it is wonderful not having to hold the book all the time, some are pretty heavy. You can knit or another while, and it weighs nothing.
